Christ the Redeemer Church supports several full-time missionaries throughout the world. Our aim is to partner with them in fulfilling God's commission to reach all nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

CTR is also involved in sending out new missionaries. We actively help those we believe are called to missions work through training, preparation, and sending.

We believe that missions is not just for missionaries, but something in which the whole church should be involved. By becoming a bridge between those in the mission field and those at home, we want to motivate you to either go yourselves or be a part of the vital support network these missionaries need to fulfill their difficult task.

How can I learn more?

Christ the Redeemer Church is involved in world missions because we desire to be obedient to Jesus Christ. Through the words of Jesus and the full revelation of Scripture, we understand the advance of the gospel among all peoples of the world to be one of God’s central priorities.

We encourage you to investigate what the Bible says about the proclamation of the gospel around the world. Here are some good places to start:

  • Matthew 28:18-20
  • Matthew 24:14
  • Romans 15:20-21
  • 1 Corinthians 16:1-2
  • Revelation 7:9

For the safety of our missionaries, we do not publish information about our missionaries online. If you would like to learn more, please visit Christ the Redeemer and explore Missions Corner, which is located downstairs in Morse Hall.

How can I be involved?

There are many ways that you can be involved in the world missions ministry at CTR. Here are some ways you can help:

  1. Go! Make disciples
  2. Send others! Organize prayer
  3. Care! For church-supported missionaries
  4. Serve! As part of the Mission Action Team
